About

Illustrated portrait of Bytesage: a character in a patterned bandana and dark jacket, arms crossed

Bytesage

I'm Bytesage, a full-stack TypeScript developer. I enjoy exploring new technologies, building products from the first sketch to a working release, and solving the stubborn engineering problems along the way.

I work across the whole stack: interfaces in React and Next.js, APIs and data with Node.js, PostgreSQL and Supabase, and Web3 integrations on Solana.

The projects on this site cover SaaS marketing sites, a product analytics dashboard and token launch pages for Solana communities. I built each one from the ground up with React, Tailwind CSS and custom CSS.

What I enjoy building

  • 01Product and landing sites that explain something clearly and look the part
  • 02Dashboards that turn dense data into something readable
  • 03Web3 interfaces: launch pages, token sites and wallet-aware flows
  • 04Small automation tools and API integrations that save real time

Technical interests

  • Web3 and the Solana ecosystem
  • Interface motion and the details that make a product feel finished
  • Developer tooling and automation
  • Web performance and accessibility

Approach

How I work through a problem.

  1. 01

    Understand the goal

I start with what the thing is for and who it is for. Everything else follows from that.

  2. 02

Make it work, then make it right

Get a working version up early, then tighten the structure, the edge cases and the details.

  3. 03

    Keep it readable

Typed, modular code that someone else — or future me — can pick up without a guided tour.

  4. 04

    Check it on real screens

Small phones, slow connections, keyboards and reduced motion are part of the definition of done.
